Rose 'Mont Marte' (蒙特马特) (1 Gal+ Live Plant) Shrub Rose

"Mont Marte" is a cut rose variety with an unknown origin.

This rose variety grows to a height of 120 cm, bearing flowers with a diameter ranging from 8 to 10 cm. The flowers exhibit a vibrant and retro purple coloration, essentially devoid of any noticeable fragrance. The central part of the flower appears more intensely purple, while the outer petals are slightly lighter, creating a layered effect. It possesses a classic cup-shaped flower structure, albeit with variations from the typical center.

Named after the artistic Parisian village, this rose variety is akin to an artistic creation itself. Its appearance showcases a delightful vintage palette, blending soft purple and red tones, resulting in a truly distinctive and lively hue. As the flower opens, it reveals a classic garden rose's heart, leaving one mesmerized by its classic shape.

Plants received should be soaked in water for 1 hour then planted immediately. Small roses are recommended to be planted in a pot and larger roses are recommended to plant into the ground. Roses MUST receive direct sunlight, do NOT place in shaded or indoor, including balconies or near windows. Be sure your pots allow adequate water flow - water should be able to flow out the bottom of the pots. Watering should be done whenever the soil is not wet; check the soil with your hand near the roots to see if it is wet. Make sure your potted roses are elevated so rain water does not flood the bottom of the pot. Roses should ONLY be planted with loose flower mix for the first few months, no fertilizers or unsuited soil / mulch should be used until the rose is able to grow leaves.
