Rose 'Janice Kellog' (詹尼斯.凯洛格) (1Gal Live Plant) Shrub Rose

Rose Janice Kellog is a very beautiful and vibrant crimson and purple rose. It has a very strong and full fragrance, with 41 petals. It is a large, old-fashioned bloom form that blooms in flushes throughout the season. The foliage is a dark green and is semi-glossy. It is very disease resistant and can be used for cut flowers, gardens, or landscapes. It is a very vigorous rose and will require removal of spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.

1. Flowers: The color mainly presents a very festive Chinese red color. It is bun-shaped at the beginning and then becomes a big cup shape, and there are layers of velvet petals.
2. Long flowering period: The flowering period is relatively long, and the frequent and compound flowers are very strong. It can bloom continuously and bloom continuously in multiple seasons. The flowering period of a single flower can also last for more than a week. 3. Large flowers: There are many petals and the flowers are very large, very attractive, the largest can reach 14cm, almost as big as the bowl we usually eat.
4. Disease resistance: The leaves are semi-glossy dark green, with very good disease resistance, and can well resist the invasion of most diseases.
5. Fenghua: The branches are medium-thick, relatively long, and the flowering volume is large. Once it blooms, it will form a large cluster, which is very spectacular.

Plants received should be soaked in water for 1 hour then planted immediately. Small roses are recommended to be planted in a pot and larger roses are recommended to plant into the ground. Roses MUST receive direct sunlight, do NOT place in shaded or indoor, including balconies or near windows. Be sure your pots allow adequate water flow - water should be able to flow out the bottom of the pots. Watering should be done whenever the soil is not wet; check the soil with your hand near the roots to see if it is wet. Make sure your potted roses are elevated so rain water does not flood the bottom of the pot. Roses should ONLY be planted with loose flower mix for the first few months, no fertilizers or unsuited soil / mulch should be used until the rose is able to grow leaves.
