Japanese Rose Jules Verne (凡尔纳) Rose
Japanese Rose Jules Verne (凡尔纳) Rose
"Jules Verne" is a rose variety released by Japanese rose researcher Takuya Kimura in 2020. The rose reaches a height of 180 cm with flowers approximately 8 cm in diameter, arranged in pink and apricot-colored rosettes in small to medium-sized clusters. It emits a strong fruity fragrance, uncommonly powerful for its size. The thin petals create a delicate texture in the small flowers. The leaves are small and the overall appearance of the flowers is excellent. The color and shape of the flowers remain consistent throughout the year, making them enjoyable in both cool spring and autumn temperatures as well as in the heat of summer.
It is a shrub rose with vigorous growth and strong disease resistance, particularly against powdery mildew, rarely succumbing to illnesses even in harsh environments. It also features high heat resistance.
The name "Jules Verne" honors the renowned science fiction writer of the same name.
"You will receive a healthy well-rooted bare-root plant with soil in a plastic wrap. With a height of roughly 10"", but may be cut shorter for shipping purposes.
Plants may be stripped of foliage when shipped to avoid damage.
Comprehensive Rose Planting and Care Instructions
Soil Preparation: Optimal soil for roses is loose, well-draining, and nutrient-rich. A suitable soil mixture could comprise 40% peat moss, 20% coconut fiber, and 40% garden soil. Using 100% peat moss can also work.
Light Requirement: Roses thrive in abundant sunlight, needing a minimum of 6 hours of direct light daily. Inadequate sunlight may lead to poor blooming or irregular flower development.
Temperature Considerations: Roses prefer a moderate climate with temperatures ranging from 64°F (18°C) - (82°F) 28°C. Extreme heat above 91°F (33°C) can hinder their growth. During periods of intense sunlight and high temperatures, provide shade, especially around midday.
Watering and Fertilization: Ensure regular watering while avoiding overwatering, as excess moisture can be detrimental. When planting, incorporate organic sheep manure as a base fertilizer. For ongoing nourishment, apply a light water-soluble fertilizer weekly, suitable for all stages of rose growth.
Pruning Guidelines: Maintain roses through regular pruning to promote healthy growth. Remove diseased, dead, thin, dense, or excessively long branches, as well as spent flowers. When eliminating old branches, cut them off at the base for optimal results.

Basic Planting Instruction
After receiving the plants, ensure they are in good condition, and then remove the plastic wrap. Plant them along with the original soil into a pot. Damage & Delivery Issues

30-Day Rose Warranty
If your rose doesn’t survive within 30 days of arrival, notify us to receive a store credit. You need to provide photos of the rose with its tag. Our 30-Day Warranty ensures that the plants you purchase can grow successfully under proper conditions. This period allows us to verify the plant's health and growth. Beyond 30 days, refund or replacement options are not available under our policy. Given that plants are living organisms, their lifespan might be affected by factors beyond our control, leading to possible expiration. Generally, roses tend to thrive for extended periods. The color of your flowers may fluctuate with the changing seasons due to variables such as temperature, soil composition, and numerous other factors. Similar to the transformation of tree leaves from green to red during Autumn, flowers also undergo changes. While plant transit is meticulously selected, circumstances beyond our influence may impact it. Therefore, we cannot offer returns or refunds after 30 days since it's challenging to determine whether the issue is due to initial quality or improper care thereafter. This policy encourages prompt and proper care of the plant upon receipt.
We reserve the right to reject returns or credits that do not meet our conditions."
