Oriental Jinbegonia, native to Japan, belongs to the Malinaceae genus. It is an evergreen or semi-evergreen shrub with small, elongated leaves and blooms in early summer. The flowers are light pink or red, with white or light yellow tips on the petals, boasting an attractive shape, long-lasting blooms, and a rich fragrance. During spring, the unfolding yellow-green new leaves contrast beautifully with the older foliage, earning it the nickname 'yellow-leaf crabapple.' It's suitable for planting in flower beds, corners, courtyards, and roadsides.

Precautions:
Oriental Jinbegonia requires regular watering to prevent drought stress or waterlogging.
While it prefers full sun, it can tolerate partial shade.
Prune dead leaves and branches promptly, and shape the plant during the growth period for optimal appearance.
Watch for aphids and spider mites, particularly in hot summers, and take appropriate pest control measures.
Apply organic fertilizer in spring and autumn, but avoid over-fertilization. Use phosphorus and potassium fertilizers in moderation during the growing season.

Breeding Method:
Soil: Prefers fertile, well-drained acidic soil consisting of peat and perlite, supplemented with leaf mold and sand.
Watering: Maintain moist soil, avoiding both excessive dryness and waterlogging. Water more frequently in summer and less in winter.
Light: Thrives in full sun but can tolerate partial shade.
Temperature: Best suited for warm climates with optimal temperatures ranging from 59°F (15℃) to 77°F (25℃).
Fertilization: Apply organic fertilizers in spring and autumn. During the growing season, use phosphorus and potassium fertilizers sparingly to avoid overfeeding.
Propagation: Propagate through cuttings, divisions, or sowing.
