Climbing Rose ROUGE (胭脂扣) (1 Gal+ Live Plant)

Plants received should be soaked in water for 1 hour then planted immediately. Small roses are recommended to be planted in a pot and larger roses are recommended to plant into the ground. Roses MUST receive direct sunlight, do NOT place in shaded or indoor, including balconies or near windows. Be sure your pots allow adequate water flow - water should be able to flow out the bottom of the pots. Watering should be done whenever the soil is not wet; check the soil with your hand near the roots to see if it is wet. Make sure your potted roses are elevated so rain water does not flood the bottom of the pot. Roses should ONLY be planted with loose flower mix for the first few months, no fertilizers or unsuited soil / mulch should be used until the rose is able to grow leaves.

Rouge is a Fujimoto rose variety released by Chinese rose breeder Jiang Zhengzhi in 2012.

The plant height of rouge button is about 400 cm, and the flower diameter is about 4 cm. Like other Fujimoto roses, the blooming in spring is more shocking, and a small amount of blooming in autumn, compared with the amount of flowers of Rouge in autumn is not bad.

Summary of the advantages and disadvantages of rouge, the advantages are good resistance, disease resistance, good resistance to shade, fast growth, which is a bit of the characteristic of traditional Chinese roses. The second is that the branches are not so hard and can be used for modeling, which is good for designing arches. The disadvantage is that the flowers are small and the fragrance is very weak.
